Gannon Engineers Collaborate with Community Partners to Amplify 3D-Printing Face Shields for Healthcare Facilities
Gannon engineers working to 3D protective face shields for healthcare facilities.
Engineering faculty and staff at Gannon University joined a movement to 3D-print face shields to be donated to local healthcare facilities in response to COVID-19. Their effort has quickly garnered generous support by several community partners and individuals providing monetary and product donations, as well as their time and services to further amplify the production of these face shields. As a result of this generosity and collaboration, we are proud to share that the University is now able to provide more of these vital resources to our local healthcare facilities for those on the front lines of serving our community.
We invite you to view the following video update from Gannon and our partners in recognition of their generosity.
