Gerald James Jr., Gannon's new Director of Diversity and Inclusion

Gannon is thrilled to welcome our new Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Gerald Jerome James, Jr. 

Gerald has served as the Diversity, Equity, and Instruction Officer and Title IX Officer at Colonial School District in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., and as the Assistant Director of Student Affairs and Conduct Officer for Penn State Behrend. 

A summa cum laude graduate of Immaculata University, Gerald earned his bachelor’s degree in human performance management. He holds M.S. Administration of Human Services and M.S. Administration of Justice degrees from Wilmington University and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. degree in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University. Gerald has a passion for education and has provided instruction for courses in ethics and multicultural studies.

In his role here, Gerald will support the university’s commitment to an inclusive environment rooted in faith, dignity and belonging. Please join us in warmly welcoming Gerald to the Gannon community.
