Gannon Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma Earns Second Harvest Food Bank Bread Box Award

Gannon as a whole was recognized as a top college for donations.

Gannon’s chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society recently received a 2022 Bread Box Award on the collegiate level from the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania.

Madison Duschek served as a previous Phi Eta Sigma service chair and attended the event representing the chapter.

They were able to achieve this accomplishment through multiple canned food drives held throughout the year and during the holiday seasons, with over 300 pounds of canned goods collected. Gannon as a whole was also recognized as a top college for donations.
