What is International Education Week?

International Education Week (IEW), November 14-18, 2022,  is an initiative spearheaded by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

Follow Gannon Learning Abroad on social media, as they share information about exchange programs, scholarships, and much more.

Follow the Center for Social Concerns and Global Exploration for more, including events celebrating International Education Week.

International Education Week Events:

Travel Trivia

On Tuesday, Nov. 15, stop by The Deck on Beyer's second floor from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. to engage in Travel Trivia! There will be free food and a chance to win gift cards with our internationally-themed trivia questions. Co-sponsored by the Center for Social Concerns and Global Exploration and the Office of Global Support and Student Engagement. We will hear from a local organization that seeks to raise individuals out of homelessness - and learn that much of the U.S. population is closer than you think to homelessness. Find out how you and your organization can make a difference.

Global Coffee Hour, hosted by Residence Life Office

Thursday, Nov, 17 from 3 - 4:30 p.m., on the second floor of Beyer Hall. Global Coffee Hour is a time when you can grab coffee and meet and interact with other students. Hosted every week by different organizations, it is a great opportunity for all to relax and make good conversation sipping on good cups of coffee. Join us to learn about what the Residence Life Office offers to make students' stay at Gannon pleasant and comfortable!
