The Gannon competitive cheer and dance teams reveal a wish for Anna in Spring 2022.
This is the fifth consecutive year the Golden Knights have earned an on-campus wish reveal, which will occur in Spring 2023.
Throughout the 2021-22 school year, the Golden Knights were relentless in their efforts of fundraising by engaging fans, the campus community, and greater Erie community. This honor comes alongside other major successes last school year including leading athletic performance earning the PSAC Dixon Trophy and leading the PSAC with 362 Scholar-Athletes.
"We are thrilled by this tremendous accomplishment of our department, being named the top fundraising school for NCAA Division II institutions," said Gannon Director of Athletics Lisa Goddard McGuirk. "Our student-athletes, coaches, and administrators are committed to serving the community. This honor is a testament to their collective work throughout the year, as each member of our department played a vital role in this achievement.
"We look forward to continued success in the 2022-23 school year, as our Make-A-Wish efforts are already underway!"
With Gannon's help, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference finished as the top conference in the nation for Make-A-Wish fundraising.
