Gallery Night: William Doan’s My Anxiety Project on exhibition at Gannon University’s Schuster Gallery

William Doan ’82, is featured at Schuster Gallery for the first exhibit of the 2022-23 academic year and at Gallery Night from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. My Anxiety Project is a series of short, graphic narrative paintings and sketches across multiple works. 

Doan’s Anxiety Project also features an online full-color exhibit of more than 500 drawings, two original performance pieces, and a series of animated shorts exploring creativity as a mechanism for mental illness management. 

My Anxiety Project at Schuster Gallery is one of more than 15 options to attend at Gallery Night, an Erie art community staple. It features regional artists from near and far and some locations host complimentary food and beverage. All participating venues and artists promote community.

More will be open from 7 to 10 p.m.: Grounded Printshop, Artifacts on 10th, Molly Brannigan’s and Annabella’s at Anastasia Mansion.
