Gannon celebrates Erie campus Spring 2022 Commencement

Eight hundred fifty-seven graduates of the Class of 2022 will be recognized during Gannon University’s two Spring 2022 Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 7 at the Erie Insurance Arena.

Gannon University President Keith Taylor, Ph.D., will award degrees to graduates in attendance. This year’s graduating class of 857 students will receive 58 doctoral degrees, 270 master’s degrees, 525 bachelor’s degrees and six associate’s degrees. Eighty-two students will graduate summa cum laude. Students from 30 nations including the United States will receive degrees.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Stacy Juchno ’98, executive vice president and general auditor for The PNC Financial Services Group. Gannon will award Juchno a Doctor of Humane Letters degree, honoris causa, during the ceremonies.

Gannon University is proud to celebrate its students through several events happening this week. Among these, the 2022 Founders’ Day Awards Convocation will be hosted on Friday, May 6 to honor students who represent excellence in academics, service and leadership. The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps “Pride of PA” Battalion will also host its annual Commissioning Ceremony on May 6.
