Participants of the event included Lori Lindley, Ph.D., dean of the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences; Gannon faculty and staff; Walter Harf, Schuster Scholarship representative and lifelong friend of the late William and Frances Schuster; and student recipients of the Schuster Memorial Music Award and Schuster Patron of the Arts scholarships.
Gannon celebrated its generous donors and outstanding students during the annual Celebrate Gannon Scholarship Reception and Dinner on Saturday, April 23.
Donors and students enjoyed a wonderful Metz meal and fellowship with one another in the Yehl Ballroom. The program was hosted by Barbara Beuscher, vice president of University Advancement, and Walter Iwanenko, Ph.D., provost and vice president of student experience.
Students Eunissa Pullium, Austin Hertel and Nissy Mathew shared a prayer and their thanks for the donors of 295 distinctive scholarships on behalf of Gannon’s 640 unique students, who received $2.1 million in scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year.
