14th annual WILD Conference will be held Sept. 29

The Gannon University Small Business Development Center will host the 14th annual Women in Leadership Development Conference from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021 at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center. 

Registration is $75, which includes breakfast and lunch. This year's theme is "Float like a butterfly; roar like a lion." The WILD team is very excited about having an in-person conference this year.

Celebrating its 14th anniversary, WILD is a national conference bringing together women for a day of inspiration, motivation, networking and professional development. This year's conference feature opening keynote speaker, Michelle Hynes, coach, facilitator and consultant. The closing keynote speaker will be Janet Rose, Ph.D., leadership mentor, motivational speaker and author.

There will be breakout sessions consisting of workshops, seminars and panel discussions in three tracks: entrepreneurship, rising leaders and executive leadership. Speakers will include Gannon's Maggie Horne, director of the SBDC, and Karinna Vernaza, Ph.D., dean of the College of Engineering and Business.

The Legacy Award will be presented to Kathy Lima in recognition of her accomplishments and leadership.
