Kathy Dahlkemper
Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper will be joining Gannon University as guest speaker in the healthcare policy enrichment course at 6 p.m. today via Zoom.
The event is free and open to the Gannon community.
Dahlkemper’s main talking points will consist of the role of county government in health care policy and include her thoughts on the pandemic. Dahlkemper will discuss her responsibilities surrounding COVID-19 and the policy implications that may branch from our experience with COVID-19.
Dahlkemper was re-elected to office in November 2017. Her main focus is to refine collaborations within the county departments and community organizations. She also wants to help make Erie County lively for everyone. Dahlkemper is a part of the National Association of Countries International Economic Development Task Force and the Community, Economic, and Workforce Development Committee. Gannon’s healthcare policy enrichment course is geared towards the development of guidelines and policy for population health and safety of the population in terms of health care-related issues.
The course is taught by adjunct lecture Michelle Robertson and is part of Gannon’s Master of Healthcare Administration program, which prepares students for management related organizations. To learn more, click here.
