Commencement
We will celebrate the many achievements of our graduating
students at Commencement on November 21, 2020 in the Hammermill Center.
The Commencement ceremony is the highlight of the semester
for the University community, and we are looking forward to
celebrating this wonderful event with you. Please review
carefully the information on this website in preparation for
Commencement weekend and retain all information for reference as
the event draws closer.
It is a Gannon
tradition that we personalize the Commencement ceremony by
announcing the name of each graduate. Although this tradition
takes time, the special recognition of each graduate symbolizes
Gannon's commitment as a student-centered university. It
communicates value and affection for each individual and
family. Accordingly, graduates are
asked to remain in their seats throughout the ceremony so that they
do not interfere with the special moments of others.
Professional photographers will be present
to photograph each graduate. A video will also be available for
purchase (order form included with invitation).
We look forward to celebrating Commencement with you. The entire
Gannon community is grateful and proud that you have allowed us to
be a part of your lives, and we wish you God's blessing for the
future.
Guests Not Permitted Policy
For the well-being of all participants, guests will not be permitted at the in-person Commencement. Only graduating students are permitted to attend the ceremony. A livestream of the event will be available for guests to participate virtually.
