MC Gensheimer started her career, in 9th grade, with a soldering gun, plaster of paris, yarn, a can of orange spray paint, and a camera.
Her photographic,sculptural, and graphic work has been accepted regionally for publication and gallery exhibits. Al large set of angel wings appeared in the back seat of her green convertible- magically. They are now positioned at the west door of the Center for Communicaiton and the Arts. Gabriel is the patron saint of Communication. The summer's projects included creating a clock for the Red Cross and developing and building a trophy for Professional Development on campus. MC spent time touring "maker spaces in Pittsburgh. Scroll saws, sewing machines, and soldering tools-- are a preview of exciting things to come.
She currently serves as a member of the Gannon Wayfinding committee. This group works on Signage, Graphics and Art placement on Gannon's campus. She is one of the shepherds for the University's painting collection- 15th and 16th century oil paintings.
She lives in Erie surrounded by art, with her husband, a cat-Gracie and a dog named "America's President Cool" AKA Callie.
