Cazenovia Teach Out

  • For Cazenovia Students: Transferring has Never Been Easier

We are excited you are considering Gannon University to complete your degree. As a transfer student, this is not the first time that you have been through the college admission process, but that does not mean you deserve any less attention. We want to assist in making your transition from Cazenovia as smooth as possible.

Gannon will complete a thorough transcript evaluation to see what credits transfer in from Cazenovia. We will review the specific coursework to determine how those credits will apply to your program's curriculum. The grades earned for transfer courses will not count towards your Gannon GPA. Don't forget to send in Advanced Placement (AP) scores, dual enrollment college transcripts and International Baccalaureate (IB) transcripts as well if you have them.

      • Answer:
We are committed to helping you complete your education journey as quickly as possible and are prepared to provide you with the help you need for a successful career. Timely graduation will be dependent on how well the program curriculum from Cazenovia lines up with Gannon's curriculum. We will do our best to ensure that courses you have previously taken adequately line up with our requirements.
      • What tuition and fees will I pay?
        • Answer:

      • Will my financial aid package transfer?
        • Answer:
While income is an important part of financial strength, many other factors are examined when determining the amount and type of financial aid you will receive, such as family size, number of siblings in college and assets. We advise all students, no matter their income level, to complete the Gannon Net Price Calculator and the online FAFSA form so they can be considered for every available resource. The Gannon FASFA code is 003266.
      • Will all of my Cazenovia credits transfer?
        • Answer:
Courses that you have earned a C or better in will transfer in. As part of the evaluation, Gannon will examine the specific coursework to determine how those credits will apply to your program's curriculum.  Any course that does not directly align to liberal core or major requirements transfer in as general electives.
      • I'm a student-athlete. Can I compete at Gannon?
