    • Learn abroad the RV Environaut, our 48-foot research vessel that is equipped with sonar and radar technologies, an underwater camera and onboard scientific laboratory

    Gain real-world knowledge through key science courses including:

    Tropical Marine Biology: Offered over spring break in the Bahamas, this immersive course will have you investigating ecological systems such as coral reefs, mangroves, beaches, tidal pools and inland habitats.

    Environmental Toxicology: Study the properties, effects and detection of chemical substances in the environment and learn how that information is used to protect human health. Topics to be covered include dose-response relationships, biotransformation and risk assessment.

    General Chemistry: Discover the fundamental theories and principles of chemistry and their relevance to issues in modern society.

    Applied Statistics: Study an introduction to statistics and probability designed for all majors.
