Prevent, Treat and Rehabilitate Injuries with an Athletic Training Degree from Gannon University
Gannon University’s Master of Athletic Training program prepares students to deliver patient-centered health care through classroom and clinical education experiences. Students will study essential topics including injury prevention, clinical examination and diagnosis, acute care of injuries and illnesses, and more. Students will also be well prepared to sit for the national certification examination through the Board of Certification Inc. Clinical Application of Care and Prevention in
Athletic Training: Develop the essential skill application needed for the prevention, assessment and treatment of acute and emergent illness and injuries.
Practical Applications of Health and Wellness: Examine the principles of nutrition and exercise activities as relating to injury prevention strategies; learn to design and apply programs for diet planning, aerobic and anaerobic training.
