- For the third consecutive year, a risk management and insurance
student from Gannon has been selected for a distinguished internship or scholarship with the National Association of
Professional Surplus Lines Offices, Ltd. (NAPSLO). Gannon students have successfully competed against
students from the top risk management and insurance programs in the
country for this valuable hands-on experience.
- The Dahlkemper School of Business was the first business school in northwestern Pennsylvania with both undergraduate and graduate programs to receive global accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

You Will Learn
Risk management and insurance students will gain an understanding of the principles and mechanics of insurance, financial planning, employee benefits and risk management. Students will also study ways to mitigate business risk. Graduates of the program will have the knowledge and skills necessary for careers in the risk management and insurance industry.

You Will Experience
Students will experience an innovative education in the Center for Business Ingenuity, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and global software. Students will receive hands-on opportunities through internships and service-learning projects with local and national businesses, as well as through the unique collaboration between Gannon University’s Dahlkemper School of Business, Small Business Development Center and Erie Technology Incubator.

You Will Study
Students obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) are able to choose from 13 concentrations to prepare for a career in the field of their choice. Students also have the opportunity to complete the Master of Business Administration with one additional year of study through the five-year MBA program.
