- The management information systems concentration is an innovative and collaborative program between the Dahlkemper School of Business and Gannon’s Computer and Information Science Department.
- The Dahlkemper School of Business was the first business school in northwestern Pennsylvania with both undergraduate and graduate programs to receive global accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
- The Dahlkemper School of Business delivers a values-centered business curriculum that provides students with advanced business knowledge through the development of critical-thinking skills, effective communication skills, ethics-based decision making, comprehension of global business concepts, leadership and team-building skills, and the desire to become a lifelong learner.
You Will Learn
There is a growing need for business professionals who have knowledge and skills in business analytics. With
a concentration in management information systems, students will learn how to use technology to apply analytic insight to computer databases, networks and business information systems. Students will become knowledgeable in organizing information to generate regular reports from information systems on every level of management within an organization. They will also learn to design performance assessments for specific areas of a business organization, including accounting, finance, marketing, production and human resources.

You Will Study
Students obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) are able to choose from 13 concentrations to prepare for a career in the field of their choice. Students also have the opportunity to complete the Master of Business Administration with one additional year of study through the five-year MBA program.
