    Overview

    Celebrate Gannon

Celebrate Gannon is an annual event at Gannon University that celebrates research, scholarship, engagement and fine art collaborations between our students and our faculty and staff. Students present their work via conference posters and platform talks, and classes are canceled across campus so that the entire community can gather and learn from one another.

Every project is the result of students mentoring with faculty and staff on projects that evolve out of course work, independent research projects and student service projects. It is the cumulation of months, if not years, worth of work, presented to the Gannon University community. Over the years, thousands of students have been able to share their first professional presentation.

Please join us in celebrating these incredible achievements as we Celebrate Gannon on Friday, April 22:

    • 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. | Yehl Ballroom and Room 219, Waldron Campus Center, Erie campus
    • 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. | Center Space, Administration Building, Ruskin campus

    Celebrate Gannon, a digital presentation

A new tradition emerged from the pandemic: a digital presentation book. This practice of presenting the scholarly works of our students on a digital platform will continue once again this year so that the remarkable work of our amazing students can still be celebrated near and far. Here, you can view the combined work of our Erie campus and Ruskin campus to fully share the accomplishments with our whole Gannon Family.

Join us as we view their scholarship in this digital platform.

    Celebrate Gannon Day of Giving

This is also a time to come together to support the University in a big way through the annual Day of Giving that takes place during Celebrate Gannon. This is an opportunity to give back to the university in many different ways by supporting the area that means the most to you. You can visit gannonalumni.org to learn more and to show your support for Gannon.

    Special Thanks

    Christine Saber

A special thanks to the Celebrate Gannon committee on the Erie and Ruskin campus, especially Dr. Taylor Temnick, as well as the Office of Academic Affairs for their hard work this Fall and Spring preparing for and organizing this year's event.

This event would not have been possible with the support of Gannon University's Marketing and Communications Department, including Kristine Rilling and Laura Giannelli, who spent countless hours with their team creating a landing page, notifications highlighting this event and the amazing interactive Issuu publication.

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to all the students, faculty, and staff who participated in the event this year.  It is an honor to showcase the amazing accomplishments that have been achieved in and out of the classroom at Gannon University. We hope you enjoy Celebrate Gannon 2022, and we look forward to your participation in 2023.

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Christine A. Saber

Lastly, I'd like to thank the current chair of Celebrate Gannon, Dr. Christine Saber for her collaborative efforts. It has truly been a pleasure to work with everyone to prepare for this event.
