North Hall

  • Residence Overview

    North Hall is the newest residence hall on campus and houses both first year students and upperclassmen. The first two floors are for upperclassmen and consist of all single rooms within each suite while the upper three floors are reserved for first year students with rooms consisting of a combination of single and double bedrooms to make two, three and five person suites. Two elevators are provided for ease of travel from floor to floor. The building has central air conditioning. There is a live-in staff member from the Office of Student Living as well as a Resident Campus Minister. Resident Assistants are located on the first year student floors for any assistance and guidance.

    Features

    The main lobby is wide open and contains an open ceiling to the second floor lounge, an information counter, and the Convenience “C” Store to serve as a one stop shop for residents. The first and second floors also have large lounge areas which posses two full size stoves, a dishwasher, fireplace, and televisions. There is also a cardio room and the laundry room off of these lounges. The third, fourth, and fifth floors have two lounges on each. One lounge is designed to be a study lounge that has a printer and over-head projector for those large group projects while the other lounge has a plethora of seating and televisions. 

    Each suite has a 12-cubic foot refrigerator and microwave as well as a kitchen table and enough chairs for each resident as well as a love seat and lounge chair. There will either be one or two vanities and full bathrooms, depending on suite size. The bedroom contains a bed, dresser, desk with chair and wardrobe.
