Gannon University announced the appointment of Sarah Heminger as director of international admissions.

In this position, Heminger will lead both recruitment and admissions activities for graduate and undergraduate students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States. International students represent about 10 percent of Gannon University's total enrollment.

At the Center for International Studies in Northampton, Mass., where she held the position of director of program administration and development from 2006 to 2010, Heminger led the admissions team and spearheaded the development of all new programs.

Heminger is a graduate of the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vt., where she received a Master of Arts degree in international education. Heminger also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Ball State University, Muncie, Ind., and studied at the University of Rennes 2, a French university in Upper Brittany.
