Gannon University Hosts Electrical and Computer Engineering Day
Posted: April 29, 2013The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at
Gannon University is hosting ECE Day on April 30, 2013. ECE Day
features project activities for high school students in electronic
circuits, wireless communication, wind power-based electricity
generation and embedded system design. During ECE Day, the
students will engage in hands-on laboratory activities to
understand engineering principles and design practices.
Currently, about 70 students from local Erie high schools are
expected to participate. The coordination is through the Erie
County Technical School, where these students are enrolled in
various special classes provided by IU5 and other schools. In these
classes, students focus on engineering subjects such as drafting,
electronics, and computers.
