Gannon Plants Pinwheels for Child Abuse Awareness
Posted: April 29, 2013Gannon University, in partnership with the Erie County Child
Abuse Task Force, is asking the local community to join its
students, faculty and staff in planting a Pinwheel Garden in honor
of National Child Abuse Awareness Month.
The pinwheels being planted will symbolize the importance of
increasing the awareness of child abuse and continuing to promote
prevention of child abuse.
Planting of the garden took place on Monday April 29th,
2013 at 12:00 noon, at the Morosky College of Health Professions
and Sciences, 150 West 10th Street, in front of the fountain on
10th Street.
Pinwheels can be purchased by contacting, Lisa Clement at
814-871-7618. Pinwheels cost $1.00 each.
