Over the past year I have presented research at the American College of Sports Medicine's national and regional conferences. My study examine the use of self myofasical release on running performance. I have two abstract publications in the Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise. I am currently working on two research studies. Both studies have allowed me to involve both undergraduate and graduate students. The first study is comparing the two different myofasical release tools on sprint and jumping performance in recreational athletes. The second study I am collecting data for is examining exercise motivation, mood and effort level during a group cycling class.
