June 19 is a national day to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Gannon will host events on the Erie and Ruskin campuses to honor Juneteenth. Because this date falls on a Sunday, we will observe on Monday, June 20.

Gannon welcomes alumnus and OpenedEyes founder Brandon Wiley '10 '13M to speak and engage in historical education, cultural significance, and fellowship. Students, faculty and staff are invited to take a break in their workday to share in the discussion and enjoy a light lunch in Waldron 219 in Erie, and in RN 142 - Distance Learning Lab in Ruskin, beginning at noon on June 20.

Please save the date to observe Juneteenth with the Gannon community.
