Boronyak ’03M, named state physical education teacher of the year

North Allegheny educator named state physical education teacher of the year NewspaperDecember 15, 2019 | North Journal (Monroeville, PA) Dean Boronyak ’03M, a teacher at Ingomar Elementary School, has been named the Elementary Health and Physical Education Teacher of the Year, according to a news release from North Allegheny School District. Boronyak began his career in North Allegheny in 2008. He previously taught in the Seneca Valley School District, instructing kindergarten through fifth grade. He received his undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University in Health and Physical Education, and his master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. Boronyak received the award during the annual Pennsylvania State Association for Health, Physical Education Recreation and Dance convention Dec. 5 and 6 in Lancaster.
