I am the proud father of two and enjoy living vicariously through their
activities and accomplishments. Daily walks with the family dog are a
must but when time allows, I enjoy running and bike rides. I am blessed
to work at such a great institution and
even more so with a great group of colleagues in the Office of
Admissions who always have students best interests in mind. The people
at Gannon are special and genuine and that is something that students
quickly learn to value as they grow into the
community. My advice is to never not ask a question that's on your
mind as you go through the college search process. We're here to help
and can't wait to talk with you!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University and my Master in Science degree from University of Dayton. I’m married and enjoy summer living on Lake Erie as well as the practice of Bikram Yoga. My favorite thing about Gannon is the urban location that will supplement your classroom experience by learning how to apply your education to real world challenges. A piece of advice from Mother Teresa, “Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. GIVE THE BEST YOU’VE GOT ANYWAY”.

I
am an Erie, PA native and a Gannon Alum! I graduated in 2019 and during my time
at Gannon I was a member of the men’s basketball team, involved in Greek life,
and studied Philosophy. I am currently working toward my Master’s in Strategic
Communication here at GU. I love playing guitar and shootin’ hoops but my
absolute favorite thing to do is pass the time with my son Steven. You can be
sure to find us at Bayview Park playing hide and seek just five blocks from
campus. Do what moves you!

I was born and raised in St. Marys, PA before making my way to
the Erie area almost 21 years ago to attend Gannon. As an
undergraduate student, I studied advertising communications
and then later earned my Master's Degree in Public
Administration. I love the hands-on learning experiences that
Gannon offers to our students; which is why I always encourage
prospective students to look beyond the classroom when they are
researching schools...your overall experience is everything!
I spend my spare time either riding bikes with my son or crafting
with my daughter…a true testament to the fact that a mom's hobbies
are never their own!

When I chose Gannon for my undergraduate education, one of my favorite things was the location. I love downtown Erie! It is a great size city, with so much to do! Outside of the office I love spending time with my husband and two young sons. When looking at colleges, my best piece of advice would be to visit, and ultimately choose the school where you feel most comfortable.

I am a recent graduate of Capital University with my Bachelors of Arts in Exercise Science. The first thing I noticed about Gannon is how welcoming the campus is. The moment you step onto campus you are invited to be involved in the community, especially through the many clubs or organizations that are on campus. Ask me about anything Disney or sports related and I probably know the answer. Some other hobbies that I have include collecting many different Disney and Star Wars Vinylmations. Of which I have about 50. One piece of advice I tell people about picking a college is to find the one that you can see yourself at for the next 4 years.

I'm originally from Saint Marys, PA, but have never left Erie after proudly graduating from Gannon. Most of my time away from work is spent with my husband and two young boys. My favorite hobby is definitely running. When I can, I'll run at Presque Isle State Park, my favorite place in Erie. Not surprisingly, my favorite place on campus is the Health and Wellness Center - especially in the winters! I love to listen to music and if want to know something unique about me, it's that I like to eat Doritos and peanut butter sandwiches. My advice to all students is to follow your heart!

I am a proud Gannon University graduate and I love the sense of community and family that Gannon offers. I also love the Erie area, and when I am not at work, my family and I enjoy taking in all that the city has to offer. If you are considering Gannon, please come visit the campus and talk to the students, staff and faculty so you can have a better idea of what being a student at Gannon University is like.

I am originally from the scenic and majestic town of Wakeman, Ohio. As an Ohio native now living in Erie, PA, I keep true to my roots by supporting both the Browns and the Indians. In addition to being a team member in the Office of Admissions, I am a GU alum with a Master's Degree from the School of Education and I coach the men's/women's club volleyball teams. I am a member of several higher education professional organizations and spend my free time watching Doctor Who, playing volleyball/golf with his friends, and attempting to turn my Delorean into a time machine. My favorite things about Gannon are the friendly/helpful people who comprise the campus community and the newly renovated Nash Library. My favorite movies are The Empire Strikes Back and Ghostbusters, my favorite book is Ready Player One and my favorite quote comes from Dr. Robert Doback “Don’t lose your dinosaur”. My piece of advice for prospective students is to visit campus and try to interact with as many people as possible as you explore the opportunities that are available.
