Transportation to Campus

  • The Office of Global Support makes arrangements to meet new students who arrive to the Erie International Airport the weekend prior to Global Student Orientation when we are provided your arrival schedule. To make your arrival a smooth transition, please complete the Attendance Confirmation Form as soon as you have confirmed your travel arrangements.  This helps all of us better prepare to welcome you!

    Covid-19 Travel Logistics

New students flying into the Erie International Airport between the dates of August 12-30 who have requested pick-up on the Attendance Confirmation Form will be met by Gannon staff or students and brought to the Campus Safety office.

Students flying into the Erie Airport prior to August 12, 2022 will have to make your own travel arrangements from the airport to campus.  Please note - On Campus Residence Halls are NOT available prior to August 12, 2022 so we highly discourage arriving earlier than August 12

Students who fly into other airports (Cleveland, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, etc.) must make their own travel arrangements to get to Erie. Driving directions to Erie are available here. The Greyhound Bus has a station in Erie.

If your travel plans change, please contact the OGSSE at or +1 814-397-2170.

Gannon Orientation Leaders will meet new students who have applied to live on campus in Gannon Housing at Campus Safety to greet you and will have your keys and walk you to your Residence Hall. (You must have completed the on-campus housing application prior to arrival in order to move into on-campus housing).

If you have arranged for on-campus housing and you arrive to campus outside of normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), please go to Campus Police and Safety, at 210 West 6th Street, or call them at +1 814 871 7690.
