As
outlined last week, the Presidential Search process will include opportunities
for the Gannon community to provide valuable input. The Presidential Search survey is your first opportunity
to engage. You can take it here. As a reminder, the survey closes on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The
next opportunity to engage in the process will be through
open forums and focus group sessions. These will be
facilitated by Scott Flanagan of Academic Search, the firm that has been hired
to assist us. The first of these will occur in Ruskin on Friday, Sept. 9.
Others will be held in Erie on Sept. 14 and Sept. 15.
The
dates and locations for the open sessions are
below.
- Friday, Sept. 9 -- from 8 to 9 a.m. in Ruskin (link will be shared next
week)
- Wednesday, Sep 14 -- from 3 to 4 p.m. in Waldron 219
- Thursday, Sept. 15 -- from 8 to 9 a.m. in Waldron 219

Two remote sessions are also being planned. These will occur:
In
addition to these open forums, focus group sessions will be held for the
Faculty Senate, the Provost Council, the Student Government Association, the
President’s Leadership Team, and the National Alumni Board. The dates, times
and locations of these sessions will be sent directly to the focus group participants.
The focus group sessions will also include representation from staff and
administrators as well as Erie community members.
Your
participation in the open forums and focus groups will provide valuable
information to inform the work of the Leadership Transition Committee.
