Virtual Tour of Old Main (Requires Quicktime viewer)

Acquired in 1941 by Archbishop Gannon, the Strong Mansion, or Administrative Building, was the main building on campus in Gannon's early years. During that time it contained classrooms, the library, cafeteria, offices, and some student housing.

Today "Old Main" retains a stately presence on the Gannon Campus and remains a favorite showplace of the University. Step inside and you'll take a step back to 1881, where many memories of our country's gilded age can be seen. You will also find the President's Office, the Provost's Office, the Vice President of Finance's office, Program for Students with Learning Disabilities, as well as the offices of University Advancement.
