LADY KNIGHTS DROP MATCH TO POMONA COLLEGE
 
CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Gannon University women’s water polo team fell 18-5 to Pomona College Wednesday evening at Haldeman Pool.
  
Pomona took the first quarter 5-1 and held the Lady Knights scoreless in the second, while add four more points to its tally.
   
Gannon (2-6) found the back of the net three times in the third frame but allowed five goals.
   
The Sagehens sealed victory in the final eight minutes of regulation with four goals. Gannon posted one.
  
Annie Greenhill (Brea, Calif./Brea Olinda) led the Lady Knights with four goals. Caitlin Andrews (Tustin, Calif./Tustin) scored one.
   
Goalkeeper Stephanie Komorek (Erie, Pa./McDowell) made nine saves for the Gannon.
   
The Lady Knights contunue their California road trip on Friday, March 7, when they will face University of Redlands and California Baptist. Both matches will be hosted by California Baptist.
