2005: Saw action in 50 games, all starting assignments
at shortstop as a true freshman ... stole 14 bases, the 10th-highest single-season
total in school history ... ranked fourth among GLIAC players in stolen bases.
High School: Played for Bill Amero at Boardman
(Ohio) High School ... earned All-State honorable-mention accolades as a
senior ... was a three-time all-conference and all-district first-team selection
... led Boardman to the 2001 State Championship ... named to the all-conference
second team as a freshman ... was a four-time recipient of the Scholar-Athlete
