Corroto will be Gannon’s starting shortstop for the fourth consecutive season ... ranks fourth all-time at Gannon in runs (123), fourth in stolen bases (39), fifth in hits (196), and eighth in RBI (101) ... can break school records with 37 hits and 34 runs.

2007: Started every game for the second straight season ... earned NFCA and Daktronics All-American second-team accolades ... named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America third team and All-District II first team ... selected Daktronics Great Lakes Region Player of the Year ... named to the Daktronics and NFCA all-region first teams ... earned All-GLIAC first team honors ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic squad ... led the GLIAC in average (.445), runs (50), doubles (20), and total bases (120) ... finished second among GLIAC players in RBI (46), third in triples (3), and fourth in stolen bases (11) ... named GLIAC Player of the Week on March 20 and ECAC Player of the Week on April 4 ... broke the all-time NCAA Division II record for longest hitting streak at 39 games ... recorded at least one hit in 43 of 53 games ... hit .557 (54-97) with runners on base, .688 (11-16) with the bases loaded, and .537 (36-67) with runners in scoring position … broke the school’s single-season record for doubles … was among Gannon’s single-season leaders in hits (2nd), runs (3rd), and RBI (5th).

2006: Started every game ... earned All-GLIAC honorable-mention accolades ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team ... led the GLIAC in hits (73) and runs (48) ... ranked second in RBI (42), home runs (9), total bases (116), and stolen bases (14) ... produced one of Gannon’s all-time top-seven single-season totals in runs (3rd), hits (3rd), and RBI (7th).

2005: Saw action in 50 games, all starting assignments at shortstop as a true freshman ... stole 14 bases, the 10th-highest single-season total in school history ... ranked fourth among GLIAC players in stolen bases.

High School: Played for Bill Amero at Boardman (Ohio) High School ... earned All-State honorable-mention accolades as a senior ... was a three-time all-conference and all-district first-team selection ... led Boardman to the 2001 State Championship ... named to the all-conference second team as a freshman ... was a four-time recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award ... graduated as the school’s Valedictorian ... was a member of the National Honor Society.
