playing time in the post as a true freshman. The 6’0” forward has the ability
to be an impact player. She is an athletic player with great potential.
“Shanna brings athleticism and height to our post position,” noted Wright.
“She has good body control and the ability to do a variety of things. Shanna
can shoot from the outside and take the ball inside. As a result, she can
play either the high or low post.”
High School: Played for Don Readance
at Shaker Heights (Ohio) High School ... earned All-Ohio honorable-mention
and all-conference accolades as a senior ... recorded 10 points, six rebounds,
three assists, and two steals per game as a junior ... was an all-conference
selection as a junior after shooting 43 percent from the field and 33 percent
from three-point range.
