Lowdermilk returns as one
of Gannon’s starting guards. The 5’9” senior is known throughout the GLIAC
as one of the conference’s best long-range shooters. As a result, Lowdermilk
was named to the Preseason All-GLIAC team. The Kensington, Ohio native ranks
fifth all-time at Gannon in career three-pointers (132) and career three-point
attempts (398). She will mostly likely become the 18th player in school history
to score 1,000 career points, entering the 2007-08 season 123 points shy
of the milestone.
Junior Season: Started every game for
the second consecutive season ... named to the All-GLIAC second team, GLIAC
All-Defensive team, and the GLIAC All-Academic squad ... ranked sixth among
GLIAC players in free throw percentage (81.4) and 21st in scoring (11.6)
... reached double digits in scoring 18 times, including 13 of the final
14 contests ... averaged 16.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.8 three-pointers
during the final 13 games ... named to the GLIAC All-Tournament team after
averaging 15.3 points, five rebounds, and 2.3 three-pointers in three GLIAC
post-season games ... led Gannon to a victory over defending national champion
Grand Valley State in the NCAA Tournament first round with a career-high
24 points, going 8-of-11 from the field, 4-of-6 from three-point range, and
4-of-5 from the free throw line ... selected to the Avalon Classic All-Tournament
team after posting 30 points in two games.
Sophomore Season: Started every game
... led Gannon in assists (98), three-point attempts (164), and minutes played
(858) ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team ... ranked seventh among GLIAC
players in three-point field goals per game (1.97), 11th in assists per game
(3.38), and 14th in minutes played per game (29.59) ... attempted 164 three-point
shots, the sixth-highest single-season total in school history ... named
to the Avalon Classic All-Tournament team after recording 27 points and nine
rebounds in two games ... added five three-pointers, seven assists, and five
steals during the classic ... reached double digits in scoring 19 times ...
reached the 20-point plateau in back-to-back victories against Wayne State
and Ashland ... posted her first career double-double with 20 points and
10 rebounds at Wayne State ... added her second double-double with 17 points
and 11 rebounds during a GLIAC quarterfinal victory at Hillsdale.
Freshman Season: Saw action in 28 games,
starting eight ... hit 35.3 percent of her three-point attempts, the ninth-highest
mark in the GLIAC ... scored first career points during a 68-55 victory at
Slippery Rock in the season opener ... made her first career start during
a 90-55 victory over Saginaw Valley State, recording 18 points on 8-of-13
shooting ... scored a season-high 24 points in 37 minutes during an
80-55 rout of rival Mercyhurst ... went 7-of-14 from the field against the
Lakers, hitting four three-pointers.
High School: Played for Todd English
at Carrollton High School ... was a four-year starter ... holds the school
record for career assists ... averaged 17.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists,
and three steals as a senior ... named to the all-conference and All-District
5 first teams ... selected to play in the District 5 East-West and the Ohio
North-South All Star games ... was a three-sport athlete, participating in
basketball, softball, and volleyball ... earned all-league accolades in softball
and volleyball ... was a four-time all-conference scholar-athlete and a member
of the National Honor Society for two years.
