Gannon recorded the second shutout in school history during the nightcap. The program’s other shutout came September 9, 2003 against Penn State Behrend (15-0).

Pat Mack (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) was the only Golden Knight with multiple goals, scoring twice. Six different players tallied one goal. Thomas and Darren Stone (Glenwood, Durban, South Africa) each played two quarters between the pipes, allowing no goals and making one save each.

Gannon improved to 7-6 overall and 5-1 in the CWPA with Saturday’s victories. Washington & Jefferson dropped to 4-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play. Salem International’s overall record was unavailable, but the Tigers moved to 0-6 in the CWPA.
