Dan Howell (Erie, Pa./Iroquois) iced the match with his 11th goal of the season with 5:04 remaining, finishing a pass from Andrew Lorei (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep).

Saturday’s championship match was played on even terms as Gannon held a slight 17-15 edge in shots and a 7-6 advantage in corner kicks. Steven Boehmer (Dayton, Ohio/Carroll) recorded seven saves in the victory. Kenny Huber turned away four shots for the Timberwolves.
