GANNON BASEBALL RETURNS
HOME TO HOST FINDLAY
 
ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon University baseball team opens a six-game homestand at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1 to face the University of Findlay Oilers in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader at Gannon University Field.
   
Gannon enters the afternoon at 6-20 overall and 2-12 in the GLIAC. Findlay is 17-12 this season and 13-3 in conference play, placing them second in the GLIAC behind Wayne State (13-1).
   
Jonathan Dziomba (Williamsville, N.Y./St. Joe’s Collegiate) leads Gannon with a .360 batting average and 22 RBIs. The junior has hit three triples, his last resulting in a two-run RBI against Northwood Monday afternoon. Dziomba has hit a team-leading two home runs this year.
   
Findlay’s top hitter is Ryan Rothenbuhler. Rothenbuhler brings a .410 batting average and 18 doubles to Wednesday’s games.
