Carneval Athletic Pavilion Admission Policy

All faculty, staff, students, dependents over 5 years of age, and alumni must scan their Gannon I.D. cards through the system located at the front desk. Faculty/staff dependents may enter the Carneval Athletic Pavilion facility at no charge with a valid photo I.D. card. Dependents may obtain a card from the Campus Police and Safety Office for $5.00. Absolutely no equipment will be issued without a valid I.D. card.

Procedure: Gannon University ID Card

Students

All full-time and part-time Gannon students who are currently enrolled and in possession of a valid Gannon University I.D. card are authorized to utilize the facility and participate in the general and intramural recreation programs.

Faculty/Staff

Upon presentation of a valid faculty/employee I.D. card, all full-time University employees are entitled to the same privileges as described above for students. Adjunct faculty may use the CAP only during the semester that they are under contract to teach.

Dependents

A dependent is defined as the spouse of a full-time faculty or staff member, a child who is 18 years old or younger, or a child who is claimed on the faculty or staff member’s federal income tax as a dependent. All dependents less than 16 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times and in all areas (except the locker room if not the same sex as parent). Spouses and dependents (16 years of age and older) have unlimited access to the facility. Dependents of full-time faculty/staff over the age of 18 who are not claimed on the faculty/staff member’s income tax return may purchase a membership at the current Alumni rate.

Alumni Memberships

Alumni may purchase a membership to the CAP and will enjoy full privileges upon the presentation of a valid membership card. A photo I.D. card may be obtained at the CAP or from the Office of Campus Police and Safety. A $5.00 fee will be charged for each card.
