Hello and welcome to the new and improved Gannon University Student Government Association website! This redesigned website is a continued attempt to reach out and better inform Gannon students about the activities of SGA, as well as to get your feedback about important issues on campus.

The Student Government Association consists of nine representatives from each class, seven functional representatives, and an executive board of eight officers. You can learn more about each class representative, functional representative, and executive board member in the members section of the website. One of the main functions of SGA is to serve as the voice between the student body and the administrators on campus. Representatives work to make sure student concerns and suggestions are heard by serving on various university committees throughout the year. The Student Government Association also undertakes special projects each year. Past projects have included: game room renovations, providing student transportation, and hosting a senior awards banquet, among many others.

I would like to encourage you to get involved with the Student Government Association this year. Please explore our website to find out ways to participate. Feel free to stop by our office in the Waldron Campus Center, call us at 814-871-7656, email an executive board officer, or contact us online if you have any questions.

Best Regards,

Tony DiPasqua

SGA President, 2009-2010
