The Director of the Social Work Program is Associate Professor Mr. Charles M. Murphy, MSW, LSW.  He received his B.A. from Gannon University and his M.S.W. from the State University of New York at Albany.  As well as being Program Director, Mr. Murphy is the Chair of the Social Services Department which includes the Social Work, Sociology, and Criminal Justice Programs.  He has been at Gannon for 20 years.
 
 
 

Mr. Anthony V. Rao, MSW, LSW, is an Assistant Professor in the Social Work Program.  He received his B.S. University of Scranton and his M.S.W. from Fordham University.  Mr. Rao serves as the Program's faculty advisor to the very active Social Work Club.  He also has been at Gannon for over 20 years.
 
 
 

Mr. Parris Baker, MSW, LSW, is an Instructor in the Social Work Program.  He received his B.S. Gannon University and his M.S.S.A. from Case Western Reserve University.  Mr. Baker is currently completing work on his Ph.D. in Social work from the University of Pittsburgh.  Mr. Baker also served as a faculty advisor for the Program's Social Work Club.
