Gannon has a very active social work club.

Every year the club holds a dinner for the homeless and less fortunate of Erie.  At the dinner our guests receive a hot meal, free clothes. presents, fellowship and a day to relax and not worry about anything.

We also volunteer throughout the year both on and off campus.  We participate in hunger-clean up, Second Harvest Food Bank, Kidfest, and Golden Harvest to name a few.

The club provides hands on social work experience with no dues to worry about.  We are funded through the school and private donations.  When you enter the Social Work Program, you become a member of the club.  Participation is not mandatory, but is highly recommended.
