Course Objective: To introduce the use of the computers and other technology in the law office and the Courtroom.


Teaching Approach: This course is taught by lecture and hands-on practical experience in using computer applications and learning skills and techniques for performing legal research on the Internet and other electronic media.


Attendance: Attendance at all classes is expected of all students. The course grade will be based upon the general quality of work performed and by such factors as prompt completion of all assignments, papers, and readings, by presence for all examinations, and by participation in class discussion. Absences from class will only be permitted with the presentation of a physician's release or by prior approval of the instructor.
