XP Wireless Setup Instructions

1.) Click on ‘Wireless Networks Detected’ notification balloon,

OR

2.) Right-click on your wireless icon in the system tray & click on ‘View Available Wireless Networks’.

3.) Click on GannonA (or GannonR) and then press Connect.

4.) Wireless Network Connection pop-up will appear as the connection is being made.

5.) When complete, it will display that you are connected to our wireless now.

You are now connected to our wireless network, but you MUST continue through the steps below to obtain access to internet resources.

6.) Open Internet Explorer. You will get the following error message. Select to ‘Continue to this website’ to access our authentication page.

7.) Enter your network credentials to gain complete internet access:
