Assignment of Network ID's
The Network ID will be the first 8 characters of the last name with a 3 digit suffix. (Example: smith031)  The initial password will be the last 4 digits of your social security number plus capitalized first initial and last initial (example: 6789JS), but the password should be changed at first login.  Your network ID is part of your email address. The complete email address will be NETID@GANNON.EDU.

Student Network ID’s are created within 24 hours of initial registration and will be part of each student’s permanent record. Your ID will be valid for as long as you are a registered student at Gannon and continue for one year after separation. New students can find their Network ID printed on their Tuition Invoices and Course Schedules.

Faculty/Staff Network ID’s are automatically created when the employee's information is completed in Datatel by Human Resources. This ID will be part of each employee’s permanent record. The ID is valid as long as the person remains employed by Gannon.  All employee network ID's can be found in the On-line Directory.

MyGannon Portal - University Announcements, Email, Blackboard, GUXpress, GUGold

500 MB of Network Storage for shared academic and personal use

Dial-In service for off-campus students, faculty & staff
