    Undergraduate

    The amounts below are based on two semesters of full-time study (12-18 credits each semester). The summer term is optional and will require additional funds. The following information is based on a student attending the Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters.

    *Tuition for Engineering, Computer Science, and Health Science programs is $29,430 and traditionally require two labs per semester.  The average lab fee is $179 per lab.

    Part-Time Day Tuition

    Students taking between 1-11 credits a semester are considered part-time and are charged: $670 per credit ($720 per credit for Engineering, Computer Science, and Health Science programs)and $18 per credit University Fee.

    Graduate

    International

    International applicants seeking F or J visa status MUST  submit specific documentation of funds available for study at the university.  If you are to be sponsored by your government, an embassy, organization or company, a recent, original letter from the sponsor is required.  All international students are required to show proof of health insurance or purchase the University's plan. The cost of health insurance could rise before the start of the semester.  Students may incur additional costs associated with certain labs associated with their program.

    1. GU offers generous scholarships, up to $13,000 per year, to qualified applicants seeking a Bachelor level degree.
    2. Scholarships awarded do not apply to ESL student tuition and fees, or room and board costs.

    Important Cost Information

    • Off campus housing = approximately $750 per month (rent per month, utilities and miscellaneous expenses).
    • Health Insurance costs may rise before the start of the semester. All students are required to purchase health insurance or provide proof of health insurance upon arrival at Gannon.

    • Costs and tuition DO NOT INCLUDE, lab fees associated with various majors. 

    Plan to do the following:

    • Sponsored Students :  Your final financial guarantee is due on the date specified on your acceptance letter (arrival date).
        • Take your final financial guarantee to our Cashier's Office as soon as you arrive.
        • If you do not have your final financial guarantee when you arrive to campus, you must be prepared to pay $1,000 towards your tuition bill until your final financial guarantee does arrive.
         
       
    • Wire your first semester tuition money directly to Gannon University before you depart your home country

    Do not do the following:

    •  Do not have your sponsors wire your tuition money to your OWN PERSONAL ACCOUNT.  Instead, please have it wired directly to Gannon University's account as stated above.
    • Do not carry large sums of cash with you; Gannon accepts checks and money orders as well.
    • Do not delay the payment of your tuition bill! 
      • Your class schedule will be deleted for non-payment if you do not pay when you arrive.
      • Gannon University cannot guarantee you an academic seat in your major if you do not pay your tuition bill on time.
      • This also jeopardizes your immigration status here in the United States.
