Entering the field of law as a legal assistant or paralegal is one of them. If you are interested in working in private law firms, the real estate industry, insurance companies, hospitals, nursing homes, government offi ces or financial institutions, Gannon’s legal studies program can help you develop the skills and knowledge you’ll need. ALUMNI TESTIMONIAL

Nikki Wehr, a 2001 legal studies graduate stated, “The coursework in the legal studies program is challenging with hands-on experience offered in almost every class. The out of classroom experiences (attending trials, internships) made learning fun and helps with visualization of the lectures. The small town atmosphere of Erie with its city features make it a great environment to live and learn.” After working as a paralegal, Nikki later attended law school and is now a practicing attorney in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
