There are several definitions and perceptions of what is information literacy. At Gannon, it is most associated with research, and the library is responsible for promoting it. To this end, the library offers instruction and reference service, along with select resources, which combined together, allow users to not only effectively find information on various topics, but also critically analyze it in order to gain knowledge.
