Submission Requirements

Docutek's E-Res service allows online access to reserves any time from any computer with World Wide Web access. Scanned documents are linked to the Docutek software, and can be accessed and printed by multiple users. For best results, email electronic versions to lombard002 with course title and number. If the reserve item needs to be scanned, provide clean, single-sided, unstapled copies. Scanning limit is 100 pages per semester, and will take one week to process. After materials are processed, the professor is given a course password. It is the professor's responsibilty to disseminate this password to the students.

Note: to comply with copyright guidelines, no more than 10% of a book and no more than 5 articles from one journal will be placed on reserve in a single year.

Access Instructions

1. Click Electronic Reserves to access the Docutek electronic reserves module, "ERes."

2. At the ERes screen, click the "Electronic Reserves and Course Materials" link.

3. The best way to access is to select the department or instructor option.

4. Once the desired course is selected, click the link to the course number.

5. It prompts for a password - professors are responsible for sharing it with their students. After the password is typed in, the copyright statement below it must be "accepted."

6. If the material designated for electronic reserve is in .pdf format, the computer must have Adobe Acrobat loaded. For a free version, click: www.adobe.com, or contact your system administrator or Internet Service Provider for loading information.

7. If the image is unclear, try maximizing the screen, zooming in with the Adobe toolbar, or printing it off with the Adobe print option.
