Lifecore involves making a commitment to
developing each of life's dimensions. At Gannon, the Student Development
Division and Office of the University Chaplain, believe in a life-long
learning and wellness model that is based on nine dimensions. These
include Intellectual, Life Planning, Social, Physical, Emotional, Sexual,
Cultural, Spiritual, and Political. How healthy are you? Participate
in one of our pilot projects* to find out!
PROMISE ... is a
way of life!
PROMISE, formerly known as the Alcohol Task
Force, stands for Promoting Responsible On-going Management in Social Environments
... because that is what we are all about! This university wide program
addresses the underage and binge drinking student culture. In cooperation
with the Pennsylvania State Police and the Healthy Lifestyles Committee
(a collaborative effort between area colleges) many initiatives and programs
are held to promote healthy social environments and responsible decision
making with regard to alcohol and other drugs.
