2004-2005  Interim Provost and

                            Vice President for Academic Affairs

	Served as Interim Provost from October 2004 to July 2005.

Summer 2002 Interim Provost and

                           Vice President for Academic Affairs

	Served as Interim Provost for six weeks. 

1995-1996 Dean of the College

                           of Humanities, Business,

                           and Education

     As the result of restructuring, the University consolidated 
     three academic units (the College of Humanities, the School
     of Business, and the School of Education) into one unit with 
     102 full-time faculty and 25 departments and programs.  
   

1992-1995 Dean of the College

                           of Humanities

     As Dean, I was the executive officer of the college reporting
     to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.  I was responsible
     for staffing and managing all aspects of the college's 18 
     departments and programs.  The college included 65 full-time 
     faculty. 
    

1991-1992 Director of the Academic

                            Advising Center 

     At the direction of the Dean, I developed the Academic Advising
     Center in order to manage a range of academic advising 
     responsibilities as a supplement to the regular departmental 
     advising.    

1988-1991 Assistant Vice President

                             for Academic Affairs   

     The Academic Affairs Division included five colleges (Business,
     Education, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Science and 
     Engineering), each offering both master's and bachelor's 
     degrees.  I was charged with major components of the budget 
     and with coordination throughout the Academic Affairs Division.    
 

1985-1987 Interim Dean of the College

                             of Humanities   

     During my two years as Dean, we successfully completed a Middle
     States Self Study and a Middle States site evaluation.   
 

1975-1981 Director of the Open

                             University Program   

     The Open University Program is an off-campus credit program for
     adults. I was charged with shaping the program to insure its 
     academic credibility.  My responsibilities included recruiting 
     the best faculty, designing a format for the curriculum, and 
     administering all aspects of the program from recruitment and 
     registration of students to their certification for graduation.
