A ‘LUCKEY’ GUY

Gannon University legend Joe Luckey gets a good luck kiss from Ali Schneider (left), director, Health Services Office, and Cathy Fresch, director, Alumni Services, as he prepared to be interviewed for StoryCorps, a national initiative to document everyday history and the unique stories of Americans. StoryCorps arrived in Erie last week to collect the stories of local residents as part of its cross-country tour. The StoryCorps MobileBooth – an Airstream trailer outfitted with a recording studio – is parked at Perry Square for the project. Luckey was the second person in Erie to share his unique stories.
